Appraisals
Our professional appraisal team comprises Graduate Gemologists of the Gemological
Institute of America (GIA), Certified Senior Members of the National Association
of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA), faceters, and bench jewelers with more than 60 years
of combined experience in the jewelry industry. As Graduate Gemologists of GIA,
the team has the technical knowledge to identify and grade diamonds and gemstones.
As Certified Senior Members of the NAJA, the team has continued their training and
education in the field of jewelry appraising.
Combine the educational experience with the hands-on experience and you will see
that our team has the enhanced ability to grade the quality and the craftsmanship
of each piece of jewelry, identify and grade the quality of the gemstones and diamonds,
and assign a value to the jewelry.
Your customers’ appraisal will consist of a table of contents, item descriptions
and photographs, assumptions and limiting conditions, a list of the lab equipment
available, subscriptions retained for value consulting, metal markets, certification,
and biographical information—all tri-folded in an attractive cover with a protective
plastic sleeve. For owners of fine jewelry, an appraisal is necessary to make a
full description of the jewelry, value the piece to properly insure it, and develop
documentation of ownership. Protect your customers’ investment. Have their jewelry
properly appraised by our team.

Note: The appraisal process is a systematic analysis of the factors that bear upon
the value. It is an orderly program by which the problem is defined; necessary work
planned; and data acquired, classified, analyzed and interpreted into an estimate
of value. This value is a judgment not a measurement. It is relative, not precise.
